My Birthday +various things

My host family is super nice and they have a group of singers come and perform on my birthday! They sang such wonderful songs in Russian and even some songs in English:) Here's a picture of us all eating some desserts!

Traveling adventures so far:)

So i'm officially in Ukraine! I've been here since Thursday at like noon. Wednesday I left home at like 4 in the morning to get to the Portland airport. I then flew to Washington DC and then to Germany and then to Ukraine!

Going to Ukraine very soon!

So i'm going to Ukraine very shortly to teach English to kids for 5 months. I'm very excited and I will be going with my best friend Rachel. I feel like this will be a life changing experience and i'm excited to serve the children in Ukraine.

While in Ukraine I will also have the opportunity to travel to other European countries nearby. I'm super excited!! Only 15 more days!
